It is challenging to keep an Arts Centre financially viable in a small village like Ailsa Craig.  However, just because its difficult, doesn’t mean it isn’t important. To this end we ask you to consider donating to this venture. 

Within this small, rural town there are limited activities for Seniors and Youth to engage in and to explore together. We aspire to create a space where people can come together to learn new skills and to explore their creative potential. We want to inspire youth to talk and create without electronic stimuli. We want to offer programing that appeals to youth beyond the athletic programs that tend to dominate rural communities. We look to provide opportunities for seniors to stay connected with their neighbours and to continue to contribute their experience and gifts to a worthwhile venture.

Memberships alone will not provide sufficient income to keep the Ailsa Craig Arts Centre financially viable. We look to the Ailsa Craig Quilt & Fibre Arts Festival to contribute an annual donation but that too is not enough to fund the centre in a climate of rising costs. Please, if you are able, donate as an investment in your community’s happiness. Let’s keep creating Magic!
