Awaken your environment with the fragrance and beauty of dried flowers and herbs from Forest Glen Herb Farm.

In this one-day course we will use upcycled picture frame looms to create a beautiful and fragrant wall hanging. Each participant will be provided with a picture frame, pick up sticks, shuttles, yarn, and drift wood. There will a wide array of dried plant material to choose from.

Once we all have the looms “dressed” you will be shown how to weave with the plant material to create your wall hanging.

Going forward, you can use the skills learned in this workshop to create beautiful gifts from your own garden or foraging. We think this will be a very special day indeed.

Cost

Members: $50.00 per participant

Non Members: $60 per participant

A $20.00 material cost will be paid directly to the instructor the day of the workshop.

What to Bring

This is an all-day course so bring your lunch. Or, if you would prefer you can purchase a lunch from the store across the street to the Centre.

Also bring, scissors, a ruler, darning needle and garden pruners if you have them.
