Event Details
Nothing brings the memories of summer days spent rambling in the woods more alive than the soft, clean aroma of a pine needle basketry. Surprisingly resilient, you will find many uses for these moth resistant little baskets. Theresa English will once again, share her love of wild crafting with her students in this one day class.
In this class, you will learn the basic steps to make a coiled pine needle basket. You will be using locally and ethically gathered pine needles (no trees were harmed in the preparation for this class). Baskets are stitched with waxed thread or artifical sinew.
