Have you been dreaming of spending cold, winter days creating beautiful quilts or garments on your sewing machine but are overwhelmed or unsure of how it works? Linda and Tony Sellick will help you over this hurdle and set you on a path of creativity.

This will be a "Hands On" Class offered by Linday and Tony Sellick.

Please bring your sewing machine, thread and accessories, some plain test sew fabric and some basic tools that were supplied with your machine.

Linda and Tony will explain the main features and purpose of all of the sewing machine elements and how they work and interact with each other.  In addition, they will show what covers or access panels to remove for basic maintenance. A brief explanation of what can go wrong with your sewing machine and how to prevent it will be covered, together with some basic cleaning and service tips.  A printed handout of the presentation will be available for all participants.

Course duration will be 2 hours.

The course will be held at the AIlsa Craig Arts Centre.  A second class may be organized if the first is sold out.
