PRODDY is an old-fashioned British variation of rug hooking using shaped pieces of wool fabric lifted up with a hook, wool prod, or prodding clasp. This technique is PERFECT for creating beautiful three dimensional blossoms, rugs, or pillow borders. It is a great technique to learn to use up selvages, thicker, blanket type wools - and its fun!
Come join Theresa English as she teaches this one day work shop on creating with Proddy. At the conclusion of the class you will be confident working with proddy and will have a finished, one of a kind market bag to give as a gift or enjoy using yourself.
In addition to the class fee there is a $20 kit fee that includes all the wool you will need to complete this project, backing material, two custom made proddy tools, and the cotton base bag.
