CALLING ALL COVID CREATORS!
THE AILSA CRAIG ART CENTRE'S NEXT EXHIBIT IS ALL ABOUT CREATIONS FROM THE COMMUNITY!
This pandemic has posed the challenge of isolation to our community and the world. During lockdown, many people have sought to find new ways to nurture themselves through dusting off an old hobby or picking up a new one. This meant finding solace in their creations and drawing inspiration from their time spent in solitude.
The Ailsa Craig Arts Centre's next exhibit will be a display of the things you have created during lockdown. Get out your best examples of the things you have created and they will be on display from October 16th to November 13th on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 1 - 3 pm. This is a chance to show off your creative side and you may get some sales out of it! The Arts Centre is happy to showplace your work and only asks for a 20% commission on any sales.
Prizes will be offered to the 1st, 2nd and honourable mention, as judged by members of the community.
Submissions can be dropped off at the Arts Centre on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays between 1 and 3 pm. All ages are welcome to submit!
Submissions can be picked up the week of November 16th.
