Weave a basket with a vegetable fiber known as "sea grass", on a framework of two bamboo wooden rings with rattan stiles. The structure of the rings is fixed with a braid of rattan marrow with a leather band, known as the "eye of God" knot.

SUPPLY LIST FOR STUDENTS:

• Pruning scissors or oblique cut pliers in good condition.  (Scissors may be used, but NOT your fabric scissors!)
• Bamboo embroidery hoops or similar 

Kit includes:

• Roll of sea grass rope, 3-4 mm thick. (1/8”)
• 200 gms  of 6 mm rattan (1/4”)
• Rattan band with 5-6 mm leather (1/4”)
