Instructor: DESEDAMAS – CECÍLIA GONZÁLEZ

The natural characteristic of SILK has something magic! In this orkshop, we will teach the different qualities of silk, its characteristics, and why and how each one could be used. Understanding the differences will help you obtain the effects you desire. We will experiment with various processes and interlining, and will recommend threads and tools to work with.  Since 1995, Cecilia and Mercè González “desedamas" have specialized in painting and dyeing silk for their patchwork and textile art.
