Play Date
A fun play day where you experiment with sun printing, stenciling, stamping, mono printing and oil sticks or equivalent. Spend the morning making with various techniques then in the afternoon start layering the different techniques to produce your one of a kind fabrics.

Instructor: Catherine McDonald “My love of colour and fabric sees me create my own hand dyed and hand treated fabrics which I then use in my own work as well as sell to others. The possibilities are endless to create original work.“Catherine is an award winning fibre and surface design artist whose work has been juried into exhibitions around the world. A Life Member of the Aotearoa Quilters National Association of New Zealand, she lectures on New Zealand Quilting, and has been published several fibre art publications, including NZ Quilter Magazine and Australia’s Textile Fibre Forum magazine.
