In this class, you will create a piece of fabric art that demonstrates the many ways to use the very versatile running stitch.

Student Supplies:  A sketch book, pencils and eraser; 2 to 3 pieces of cotton or linen Approximately 12” x 12”.  This cotton is not quilting cotton as it is too tightly woven. You can use factory cotton, old linen table cloth, muslin, unbleached cotton or any looser weave cotton or Linen coloured or off white; Chenille needles in # 18 - 20 & 22 size.  (Michael’s have 5 a pack in a variety of sizes);  A variety of threads from the various sizes of pearl cotton to very light weight wools;  3 or 4 colours is enough to start with;  Small scissors; embroidery hoop about 8” across if you like to use one; thimble if you like to use one.
