Appliqué Pillow Class Learn to hand appliqué and make a fun flower pillow complete with bugs, bees and a even a butterfly. We will explore various ways to appliqué, and how to finish the pillow and add cording around the edge of your pillow to give it a finished look. Supplies for class.... Sewing kit plus any threads you have Small sharp scissors Sewing machine for last class night. 2mt of cording. .. .. .. .. 3/4. mt of coloured cotton fabric (your choice to match your home decor) I will supply the white on white cotton top of the pillow, appliqué needle, and will bring a variety of fabrics for the appliqués. Marg Hodgins is a very talented needlewoman and artist who has graciously offered to teach this class to share her passion for hand applique. What a rare treat! Cost for 6 week class is: Members: $20 Non Members: $25 If you don't have a sewing machine, please don't let that stop you from taking this class. We will try to have some machines available for the last night when cording is applied. Register early for this class as numbers are limited.
